Delete your Wyvo account
How to permanently delete your account and data in the Wyvo app, published by Wyvo. You can also ask by email, without installing the app or signing in.
Last updated: October 2, 2026
1. Cancel your subscription first
Deleting your account does not cancel a Wyvo Pro or Wyvo Max subscription and does not give a refund. Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, so cancel yours there first:
- iPhone: App Store subscriptions, or Settings, then your name, then Subscriptions.
- Android: Google Play subscriptions, or the Play Store app, then your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions.
If you are on the free trial, there is nothing to cancel.
2. Delete in the app
- Open Wyvo and go to the Profile tab.
- Tap Delete Account, review what will be deleted, then tap Continue.
- Type DELETE to confirm.
- Tap Delete Forever.
If your trial or subscription has ended, the plans screen also has a Delete Account option, so you can delete without paying.
Deletion happens straight away. Wyvo also removes your data from the phone you delete from and signs you out.
3. Delete by email, without the app
If you no longer have the app, or cannot sign in, email us:
Address: support@usewyvo.com. Subject: Delete my Wyvo account.
What to include
- Send it from the email address you use to sign in to Wyvo, if you can.
- Say how you sign in: email and password, Sign in with Google, or Sign in with Apple.
- If you used Sign in with Apple with "Hide My Email", give the private relay address (ending in
privaterelay.appleid.com). You can find it on iPhone under Settings, then your name, then Sign-In & Security, then Sign in with Apple, then Wyvo.
Never send your password. We will only ask you to confirm the request by replying from the email address on the account, so that nobody else can delete your account. We will confirm when your account has been deleted, within 30 days of your request.
Deleting by email removes the data on our servers. Data still on your phone is removed when you uninstall the app.
4. What is deleted
- Your Wyvo account and sign-in details, held by our sign-in provider Clerk
- Your account directory record in our database: your email address, whether it is verified, your sign-in method, and first and last seen
- Your activity log: meals eaten, workouts, water, and steps and active energy imported from Apple Health or Health Connect
- Your weigh-ins and body measurements, including imported weight
- Your workout logs: exercises, sets, repetitions and weights
- All AI coach conversations and messages
- Your subscription and trial record in our database
- Your lifetime access record, if we gave you lifetime access. Lifetime access is lost with the account and is not restored automatically
- Your AI usage counters and plan-generation records
- Your AI-processing consent record and any reports you made about AI content (coach replies, meals and exercises)
- Your RevenueCat customer record (requested automatically when you delete in the app)
- When you delete in the app: your fitness profile and other Wyvo data on that phone
Want a copy first? In the app, go to Profile, then Export My Data, for a CSV of your account record (email, sign-in method), activity log, weigh-ins, workouts, coach chats, subscription record, lifetime access record, AI usage, consent record and reports.
5. What is kept, and why
| Data | Why it is kept |
|---|---|
| Apple and Google purchase records | Apple or Google process your payments and keep these records under their own policies. We cannot delete them. |
| Deleted-account marker | An internal record of your deleted account identifier and the deletion date, and nothing else, kept for 2 years. It lets us ignore a late App Store or Google Play notification about a subscription that is still renewing, so no data is re-created for a deleted account. |
| Free-trial marker | If your account had used the free trial, we keep a one-way keyed hash of your email address (not the address itself) for up to 2 years so the same email cannot start a second free trial. It does not stop you subscribing, and it contains no fitness data. |
| Operator audit log | Our internal record of manual administrative actions (for example granting lifetime access) holds an opaque account identifier and a masked email address, with no fitness data. It is kept for operator accountability. |
| RevenueCat purchase record | RevenueCat manages subscriptions for us. When you delete in the app we ask RevenueCat to delete your customer record. If that request fails, email us and we will have it deleted. If a store subscription is still active it keeps renewing until you cancel it in the App Store or Google Play, and Wyvo ignores any renewal for a deleted account. |
| Sales and payout reports | Reports from Apple and Google that we keep for as long as accounting and tax law requires. They do not contain your fitness data. |
| Technical server logs | Kept for a limited period by our hosting provider for security and troubleshooting, then deleted. |
| Meal-photo and exercise-video lookups | Stored only by meal or exercise name. They contain no personal data and are not linked to you. |
6. If you used Sign in with Apple
You can also stop using your Apple ID with Wyvo: on iPhone, open Settings, then your name, then Sign-In & Security, then Sign in with Apple, choose Wyvo, and tap Stop Using Apple ID.
